The real right way to run your business

I was recently scrolling Instagram on a Friday night with my favourite glass of Pinot Noir when I came across a post from a coach that stopped me in my tracks. It said. . . “Swipe to see the right way to grow your business.

At that moment, all I could say was, “That’s BS.”

Because the truth is, there is no wrong or right way to run your business.

If you’re trying to follow someone else’s rulebook, it’s time to stop and start doing things your way.

Don’t follow the “How I made 100k in 30 days” formula

We see this type of hype on social media all the time, and cringe with every post.

That kind of advice not only makes you second-guess your instincts, but pulls you out of alignment and makes you feel like you’re falling behind when you’re not!

Our take? The only formula that will help you make $100k is the one that works for YOU.

Don’t Run From a Place of Misalignment

The only things that matter in how you run your business are your energy, your priorities, and your lifestyle alignment. You’re allowed to build your business around your capacity and create something sustainable instead of performative.

Trusting that what feels right for you is reason enough, despite what others believe, recommend, or swear by. It doesn’t matter how flashy your business looks online, but how well it supports the life you want to lead.

For me, that means spending most of my time with my baby and my partner, taking a bubble bath at 3 pm, and catching happy hour with a girlfriend whenever I like.

The Bottom Line

There is no one right way, guaranteed formula, or perfectly paved path. The truth is, you grow by taking action, making mistakes, learning from them, and adjusting as you go.

You grow by failing forward, pivoting when things don’t feel aligned, and having the courage to try again (even when it’s uncomfortable).

That’s how you learn what kind of business actually feels good to run and what success looks like for you.
